Suction Cups for Vacuum Lifting Devices

Suction Cup 388-4N

The 388-4N suction cup is intended for use on Pannkoke vacuum lifters. Short list of the key properties of a suction cup:

  • suitable for lifting smooth surfaces
  • suction cup diameter in action approx. 300 mm
  • suitable for suction of cylindrical elements up to a minimum radius of 3500 mm
  • suitable for glass with a thickness of 4 mm
  • This material is not oil-resistant
  • The operating range extends from a temperature range of -2 to 80 degrees Celsius
  • The safe working load, based on a 2-fold safety margin on a smooth, clean surface (such as float glass), at a vacuum of -0.6 bar, a temperature of 20°C and a max. altitude of 500 metres above sea level equals vertical 100 kg (force introduced at an angle of 90° to the suction surface) horizontal 120 kg (force introduced in reverse direction to the suction surface)
  • The surface of the rubber is vulcanised and cannot be separated from the steel body
  • the rubber is black, the steel body is yellow
  • The suction cup is mounted by four mounting points with an M8 thread with bore spacing of 162 x 56 mm (centre to centre)

Suction Cup 388-4N/TR

The 388-4N/TR suction cup is intended for use on Pannkoke vacuum lifters. This suction cup practically leaves no impressions. Short list of the key properties of a suction cup:

  • suitable for lifting smooth surfaces
  • suction cup diameter in action approx. 300 mm
  • suitable for suction of cylindrical elements up to a minimum radius of 3500 mm
  • suitable for glass with a thickness of 4 mm
  • This material is not oil-resistant
  • The operating range extends from a temperature range of 5 to 80 degrees Celsius
  • The safe working load, based on a 2-fold safety margin on a smooth, clean surface (such as float glass), at a vacuum of -0.6 bar, a temperature of 20°C and a max. altitude of 500 metres above sea level equals vertical 75 kg (force introduced at an angle of 90° to the suction surface) horizontal 90 kg (force introduced in reverse direction to the suction surface)
  • The surface of the rubber is vulcanised and cannot be separated from the steel body
  • the rubber is ivory-coloured, the steel body is yellow

Suction Cup 388-8N

The 388-8N suction cup is intended for use on Pannkoke vacuum lifters. Short list of the key properties of a suction cup:

  • The safe working load, based on a 2-fold safety margin on a smooth, clean surface (such as float glass), at a vacuum of -0.6 bar, a temperature of 20°C and a max. altitude of 500 metres above sea level equals vertical 125 kg (force introduced at an angle of 90° to the suction surface) horizontal 125 kg (force introduced in reverse direction to the suction surface)

Suction Cup 540

The 540 suction cup is intended for use on Pannkoke vacuum lifters. This suction cup was also used by Armatec / Bystronic Armatec on its own vacuum lifters. Short list of the key properties of a suction cup:

  • suitable for lifting smooth or slightly textured surfaces
  • suction cup diameter in action approx. 200 mm
  • suitable for suction of cylindrical elements up to a minimum radius of 600 mm
  • This material is not oil-resistant
  • The operating range extends from a temperature range of -2 to 80 degrees Celsius
  • The safe working load, based on a 2-fold safety margin on a smooth, clean surface (such as float glass), at a vacuum of -0.6 bar, a temperature of 20°C and a max. altitude of 500 metres above sea level equals vertical 35 kg (force introduced at an angle of 90° to the suction surface) horizontal 50 kg (force introduced in reverse direction to the suction surface)

Suction Cup 535

The 535 suction cups is intended for use on Pannkoke vacuum lifter and is designed as a suction handle. Our customers also call this suction cup a bell suction cup or a suction bell. Short list of the key properties of a suction cup:

  • suitable for the horizontal lifting of curved surfaces
  • suction cup diameter in action approx. 250 mm
  • suitable for suction of curved elements up to a minimum radius of 250 mm
  • This material is not oil-resistant
  • The operating range extends from a temperature range of 5 to 80 degrees Celsius

Suction Cup 534

The 534 suction cup is intended for use on Pannkoke vacuum lifters. This suction cup is also used on maritime vessels as a mounting point on bulkheads, e.g. for the pilot ladder. Short list of the key properties of a suction cup:

Suction Cup 542-13/TR

The 542-13/TR suction cup is intended for use on Pannkoke vacuum lifters. This suction cup was also used by Armatec / Bystronic Armatec on its own vacuum lifters. In response to high demand for this type of suction cup, we have reintroduced it to our product range. Short list of the key properties of a suction cup:

  • suitable for lifting smooth surfaces
  • suction cup diameter in action approx. 150 mm
  • This material is not oil-resistant
  • The operating range extends from a temperature range of -2 to 80 degrees Celsius
  • The safe working load, based on a 2-fold safety margin on a smooth, clean surface (such as float glass), at a vacuum of -0.6 bar, a temperature of 20°C and a max. altitude of 500 metres above sea level equals vertical 12 kg (force introduced at an angle of 90° to the suction surface) horizontal 12 kg (force introduced in reverse direction to the suction surface)

Suction Cup 542-25/12W

The 542-25/12W suction cup is intended for use on Pannkoke vacuum lifters. This suction cup is used primarily in the rock and metal-working sectors, and for moving glass cylinders involved in the production of optical instruments. Short list of the key properties of a suction cup:

  • suitable for lifting slightly irregular or slightly textured surfaces
  • suction cup diameter in action approx. 255 mm
  • This material is oil-resistant
  • The operating range extends from a temperature range of -20 to 180 degrees Celsius
